What is the goal of the study?

The purpose of this study is to collect clinical data, blood, and cerebral spinal fluid samples from affected individuals with diagnosed or suspected X-ALD across the disease spectrum and perform analyses on these specimens. The aim is to identify a pattern of biomarkers, if one exists, that would allow differentiation between the different forms of X-ALD.
