Application of telemedicine methods in the Seattle Children's cochlear implant program.

What is the goal of the study?
The primary objectives of this study are the following: 1) To determine if it is feasible to use telemedicine for patient appointments in the cochlear implant (CI) program at Seattle Children?s Hospital (SCH). 2) To compare the appointment metrics (i.e., number of appointments scheduled, kept, rescheduled, and cancelled) associated with CI programming visits that are completed in-person versus by telemedicine. 3) To compare the caregiver satisfaction and costs associated with cochlear implant programming appointments that are completed in person via telemedicine.
