What is the goal of the study?

This is a phase II, multi-center, open label, randomized controlled trial comparing the safety and efficacy of an immunosuppressive regimen of belatacept and sirolimus to tacrolimus and MMF in pediatric kidney transplant recipients. Participants will be randomized (1:1) to one of two groups. Group 1 (100 participants) will receive belatacept and sirolimus and Group 2 (100 participants) will receive tacrolimus and MMF.
