Basic Research

An efficient immune response is tightly regulated to limit the exacerbation of the inflammatory response to infection and disease. Our investigators at CIIT tackle some of the toughest childhood diseases caused by immune dysregulation including sepsis, asthma, diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis and leukemias.
