  • Biography

    Julianne K.J. Bishop, MD, is an attending physician on the inpatient ward and Medically Complex Child Service at Seattle Childrens Hospital and a Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Bishop earned her MD from the University of Kansas and completed her residency in pediatrics at Seattle Childrens. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bishop's clinical interests include ethics and palliative care, especially how these relate to children with complex care needs.

    Dr. Bishop's non-clinical time is spent focusing on standardized care and resident mentoring. She is involved with the Clinical Standard Work program at Seattle Children's and is the clinical pathway owner for Neonatal Fever and Croup.  She also is a member of the Clinical Competency Committee for the University of Washington Pediatric Residency Program, where she provides direct clinical mentorship to pediatric residents.
