  • Biography

    Giri Shivaram MD is an associate professor of radiology in the interventional radiology sections at Seattle Children's Hospital and the University of Washington Medical Center. He is Division Chief of Pediatric Interventional Radiology.

    Dr. Shivaram received his medical degree from Stanford University, where he was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellowship. Following medical school, he completed internship in general surgery at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle followed by residency in radiology at the University of Washington Medical Center. He then went to Yale-New Haven Hospital at the Yale School of Medicine, where he completed fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology. He is thrilled to be back at Seattle Children's Hospital and the University of Washington. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Shivaram enjoys biking, skiing, and spending time with his wife and young daughter.
