"Working in the Heart Center is a true joy. I love the constant challenges and opportunities for learning, but most of all I love helping children and their families overcome a critical illness. My grandmother was a nurse and my younger sister spent many years in the hospital, so I was drawn to this profession at an early age. Every time a former patient comes back and hugs me and says how much they appreciate the Heart Center, I know I chose the most rewarding career possible."
