"My interest in medicine started in high school after completing a self-guided elective on anatomy and physiology of the heart. It was in the later years of medical school when I chose a career in surgery. Congenital cardiac surgery became my focus after working with the cardiac surgeons at Children's of Colorado during my surgical training. I specifically enjoy the reconstructive nature of the operations we perform and watching my patients thrive after repair. Seattle Children's is a great place to work because of the collaborative atmosphere within the Heart Center. We truly work as a team and this leads to the best outcomes for our patients. "
