Meet Your Team
Your child’s Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team, led by Dr. Burt Yaszay, studies and treats problems that affect the growing bones, joints and muscles of children.
The team includes pediatric , , , and specializing in pediatric orthopedics. All of the doctors are in their specialties and provide surgical and nonsurgical care for your child.
Our program’s providers have extensive experience caring for children with complex orthopedic conditions and are involved in many international groups pioneering research for these conditions.
We are experts in observing children’s growth and recommending the right treatment for your child at the right time. To help your child, we often use physical and occupational therapies, braces, splints and casts. When surgery is needed, we are very experienced in performing procedures to treat musculoskeletal problems.
We work closely with our colleagues in other specialties, and our patients have full access to the wide range of services provided by Seattle Children’s as a major regional medical center.
