Nursing Certification and Ongoing Education
Seattle Children's supports direct-care nurses pursuing national certification by organizing study groups, covering exam fees and paying a salary premium for approved national certifications.
- Learning and development are priorities in the Nursing Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism strategic plan. Learning opportunities to advance our organizational commitment to equity are available through the nursing division.
- The Nurse Residency Program is a one-year program that prepares each new graduate for their role as a pediatric nurse.
