In 2023, Seattle Children’s received a three-year recertification as an ISO 9001 organization. Provided by the International Organization for Standardization, this certification provides validation of clinical quality standards. Children’s is one of the few children’s hospitals in the world to earn this certification.

For 2022, Seattle Children's has received the Gold ELSO Award for Excellence in Life Support. The ELSO Excellence in Life Support Award recognizes ECLS programs worldwide that distinguish themselves by having processes, procedures and systems in place that promote exceptional care.
