Major Institution Master Plan

Aerial view of Seattle Children's main campus in LaurelhurstSeattle Children’s Major Institution Master Plan (MIMP) was created during a years-long collaborative planning process with the city of Seattle and the community.

The MIMP is a comprehensive plan, regulated by the city of Seattle’s Land Use Code, which guides the long-term development of the hospital's campus in Laurelhurst. Seattle Children’s MIMP was approved by the Seattle City Council on April 5, 2010 (Council Ordinance 123263).

The following documents were developed as a part of the MIMP process. All are PDFs.

For information on the Standing Advisory Committee and to view MIMP annual reports, please visit the city of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods page.
